Top 005
A simple list of Canary's top five favorite games; following jonio's suit.

001. Lineage II (PC); This game was my very first MMORPG and let's just say, I fell completely in love with it. Besides it's gorgeous landscapes and beautiful character design, this game also provides exhilarating gameplay that will keep you going for hours without even having the chance to think about being bored; and when I say hours...I mean hours. (try 12-17 hours at a time lieblings |D yeahhh. you get those moments when you finally look at the time, when you get a break from all that farming and pvp and you can't figure out where all those hours went). Of course, like any mmo there's lots of grinding involved but hey, I actually like to farm! The more you farm, the better stuff you get! Anyway, this is not my review on it yet so I'll stop giving away too much but it is indeed my favorite game of all time and I will probably never grow sick of it.

002. Shadow Hearts [Japanese site only, apologies] (PS2); This game is and was the best roleplaying game ever for the Playstation 2. Of course, I love the Final Fantasies but still, this game even outbeat those and I have been a loyal FF fan since the age of eight. This game, I played so many times and did all the extras to save Alice that I could write a walkthrough on it. I love this game. There are two more games in the series, following this one but I did not like either of them as much. I managed my way through the second one (even though they took no consideration into the fact that the first game had a way to save Alice (more information will be provided in my upcoming review; don't want to give away spoilers now) and the third one was just...so different from the first and so kiddish that I couldn't even stand to finish it. Again, this game is epicly awesome and will forever be my favorite rpg, all of it's darkness and gruesome monsters included.

003. Jeanne D'Arc (PSP); An absolutely adorable version of the tale of Joan of Arc. From each battle to personal friendships, Jeanne is quite entertaining. This is one of the turn-based battle systems exactly like the old school Final Fantasy Tactics. I still haven't beaten it yet because Talbot is ridiculously insane to beat if all of your party members aren't high enough levels but nonetheless, it's an amazingly fun game to play!

004. Legacy of Kain: Defiance (PS2/PC); This game, though I hate having to suffer through the levels with Kain, is another one of my favorites. Raziel will never get old to me. Though they probably won't make anymore (poor Tony Jay ;~;) they could make a bajillion games with him and I would play them over and over. It may be because I think this little acid torn, deformed, jawless soul sucker is absolutely adorable, but nonetheless, I love this game. Reaping souls and solving puzzles, it's just great.

005. Final Fantasy VII (PS1); Of course the graphics are sucky in comparison to today's Final Fantasies but no other Final Fantasy can compare in storyline with FFVII. One of the greatest RPGs of all time, along with some of the most memorable characters of all time. Final Fantasies don't get better than VII. It will always be what the other's have to live up to for me! I can't even recall how many times I've beaten this game...haha, it's just that good.

Aww man. Shadow Hearts! That was a tough final boss. I only got the crap ending. :(

hahah yeah. God was really hard to beat. But, in order to get the good ending, you had to go to Keith's house and defeat all of the masks in a particular order and then, defeat their ghosts. After that Alice will enter the dream sequence and Yuri will have the chance to save her....doing all of this prevents the bad ending after God has been defeated! :D I'm sure I'm going to add this helpful hint in a post someday because it's one of the necessary things I have to do in order to play...I just like Alice too much :DDD

But yeah, the game itself was awesome...even though it was hard

Hmmm....I have damn near nothing to do this summer. I wonder if I could find a copy of this and try to beat it again.

Thanks for the tip btw :D
